The Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) – District Kutno / English summary

Hufiec Kutno is a part of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association. It works in a territory of Kutno County. We can find teams in many places, such as Kutno, Byszew, Klonowiec Stary, Gołębiewek Nowy and Strzelce.

Scouting appeared here in 1912, when the first patrol was opened. Scouts of Kutno fought in Polish-Soviet War 1920 and continued to expand their group. Nowadays, Kutno scout district consists of about 350 scouts who take part in a lot of activities and learn how to become better in many lines of life.

There are twelve cub scouts’ packs and thirteen scout troops.

ZHP mission is to educate young people, that is to support them in their full development and character formation by posing challenges. Young volunteers come up with new ideas and educate their scouts every day.
